Abstracts from the Abstracts from the Mid-Atlantic Section of the AUA 2021

Greetings everyone! On behalf of the Program Committee and the Board of the Directors of the Mid-Atlantic Section of the AUA (MA-AUA), I am delighted to share the abstracts scheduled for presentation at the 79 th Annual Meeting October 14 – 16, 2021 (Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, National Harbor, MD). Highlighting the work of medical students, residents, allied health professionals, and urologists (both within our section and from around the country) is a critical function of our Annual Meeting. Scholarship was at a premium this year with a high volume of paper and video abstracts submitted for consideration. Indeed, the Program Committee had a challenging time selecting the 115 abstract presentations for the program including 82 moderated posters, 20 display posters, 6 resident prize essay podium presentations, and 7 video presentations. We certainly hope to see many of these translate into publications and other types of enduring materials. I would like to thank CJU International for their continued relationship with the MA-AUA and their commitment to support our academic efforts through publication of these abstracts.
